French sportswear brand Lacoste has participated in some really terrific collaborations in the past and their latest is yet another. We are impressed that, unlike so many brands, they are willing to alter their iconic logo and have fun with their image. And they’ve proven time and again, it doesn’t harm their reputation. The latest iterations of the famous reptile have been infused with entertainment as a result of a fun collaboration with Netflix.
Lacoste X Netflix Collection
Lacoste just dropped a pop-culture-inspired capsule collection of athleisure wear for men, women and children. A large assortment of casual wear and accessories incorporate eight of the most popular streaming series from Netflix; Stranger Things, Lupin, Sex Education, Shadow and Bone, Elite, Money Heist, The Witcher, and Bridgerton.
Our favorite from the collab are the classic Polo shirts that feature the iconic Lacoste crocodile, originally illustrated by Robert George in 1923, transformed to represent each of the 8 Netflix series. They are pretty darn funny and a must-have for diehard fans of the shows.
Made of organic cotton with the two pearl buttons, the Polo shirts have the legendary preppy look and style we’ve come to associate with the upscale brand. Available in 8 variations, as well as in white or black.
The collection also includes lots of unisex casual wear for grown-ups and kids.
Other pieces in the capsule collection include lightweight jackets, patterned shirts, shorts and pants.
