We introduced you to the TotCor Project Heart Vases around Valentine’s Day a few years ago. Still wishing we’d bought every single one, the beautiful heart-shaped ceramic vases come in many different colors and special artist editions. There are a few new ones available worth noting since our last post on them.
Artist Decorated Heart Vases

Handcrafted in Barcelona, and the brainchild of Pepe Reveter, the artist decorated heart vases for the TotCor Project are a metaphor of our inner self, materialized to become a visible part of our everyday life. “Its mere presence,” Reverter says, “is to bring the best out of us.”

Inviting multiple artists to participate, the vases have included those by artists Jaime Hayon, Carolina Estrada, Javi Roya, Anna Ruiz, Los Diez, Juli Capelli, Sergio Mora, Rosa Cortiella, Jordi Torres and Ramón Úbeda. This year they have a few more beauties including a few limited editions.

Each Hand-made ceramic heart vase weighs around 1.5 kg and measures 25.5 x 29.5 x 7 cm.
They each come beautifully boxed. Box dimensions 33 x 38 x 12 cm.

Two of these were created for The Thyssen Bornemisza Museum, using pieces from their permanent collection; Piet Mondrian’s famous composition, New York City 3, and Adam and Eve by Jan Gossaert (1478-1532).

These make wonderful gifts, especially for Valentine’s Day. The heart sculpture is presented as a beautiful work of art well packed in a beautiful and protective box.
The delivery time for online orders is 48 hours on weekdays in Barcelona. In the rest of the peninsula and Europe, the deadline will depend on the destination.
